Impact Protection Skin (IPS) Technology
Having a lightweight tire and good puncture protection might be a conflict. Well, not for us... We designed our tires with perfectly arranged knobs. No unnecessary side knobs, no unnecessary weight. To protect the side area anyhow, we added an impact protection skin. Honeycomb-structures increase the carcass thickness between the knobs to protect against impacts. Not only does it look nice, it also works!
Dual Compound Technology
Our tires are constructed with a special technology allowing us to fully adjust its performance. Using different rubber layers for the carcass and the knobs gives us the possibility to adjust each compound perfectly. First, we apply a harder compound to the carcass which gives the tire a perfect vertical flex. Second, we define a good gripping compound for the knobs. By having this opportunity we can vary the knob compound for any specific application, whereas the basic tire characteristic doesn't change.
Raised Center Knob (RCK) Technology
One result of our computer simulations is the Raised-Center-Knob (RCK) Technology. We found that a flat knob design under load is not flat anymore. While the outside faces of each knob are under load, they will bend up leaving a concave bowl on top of the knob. By raising the center of each knob we avoid this effect and end up with an increased contact patch. Giving you that extra bite of grip.
